Eligibility: Applicants must be current sophomores or juniors in qualifying Historically Black Colleges and Universities. They must be U.S. citizens of African-American or Hispanic descent. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and enroll full-time for the upcoming academic year.

This award is based on merit, not financial need, but applicants may include financial need statements for review. Applicants should submit transcripts, test scores, a statement of club participation, proof of leadership outside DECA, three recommendation letters and proof of membership.

Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must have been 29 years old or younger when their business began generating revenue. The applicant's business must be one to five years old, have generated revenue for at least one year and help create opportunities for low-income Americans. Selection is based on the applicant's motivation and vision and knowledge of low-wealth individuals and the potential of the business.
