Eligibility: Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons and Alberta residents who attend a post-secondary institution in Alberta, are enrolled full-time in the second or subsequent year of study with an emphasis on crop production and/or crop processing technology. Students must not have received this scholarship before. Selection is based on academic achievement in the previous year of study and the overall strength of the application.

Eligibility: Applicants must be current FFA members and high school seniors or college students planning to enroll or currently enrolled full-time. Students must enroll in a college which has an Alpha Gamma Rho chapter, and they should be pursuing a four-year degree in any field related to agriculture. Applicants planning to major in aviation, hospitality or any non-agriculture subject are not eligible to apply. Students only need to complete the online application one time to be considered for all FFA-administered scholarships. The application requires information about the student's activities and a 1,000-word essay. Awards may be used for books, supplies, tuition, fees and room and board.

Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
