Applicants must be pursuing a degree in information technology (IT) or a related subject, must be enrolled full-time (12+ credits) and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more. Selection is based on academic merit, an academic letter of recommendation and financial need.

Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents who are Hispanic, African-American, Native American, Asian, Pacific Islanders or Alaska Natives and who are undergraduate sophomores or seniors. Sophomores must be majoring in accounting, chemical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, geology/geosciences, information technology (IT/MIS), mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering or supply chain management (management). Seniors must have plans to pursue a master's degree in geology or geophysics. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a four-point scale. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
