ACL/NJCL National Latin Examination Scholarships

Eligibility: Applicants must be Latin students and gold medal winners in the National Latin Exam Awards. They must also be high school seniors and must agree to take at least one Latin or classical Greek course each semester of their first year of college.

Fellowships for Regular Program in Greece

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least one to two years of graduate study and must take exams in ancient Greek language, history and either literature or art and archaeology. Students must be able to read French, German, ancient Greek and Latin with an ability to also read modern Greek and Italian considered helpful. Applicants must be graduate students who are preparing for an advanced degree in classical and ancient Mediterranean studies or a related field. The fellowships provide study in Athens or Greece for nine months and may not be used for costs at the student's home institution.

Amount: $11,500 plus housing, board and fees

JTG Scholarship in Scientific and Technical Translation or Interpretation

Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a graduate or undergraduate degree program for either scientific and technical translation or interpretation. Students must be attending school full-time, and they must have completed one year of post-secondary schooling. Applicants should also have at least a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.5 GPA in translation or interpretation courses.
