Eligibility: Applicant must be pursuing an advanced degree in wildlife, zoology, botany, ecology or other biological sciences that are related to wetlands ecology. Selection is based on dedication to wetland preservation, high academic achievement and the merit of the project submitted.

How to apply: Applicants must send a one-page proposal summary of original research or a management project, a resume, a statement of interest, a letter of support from a faculty member and a list of at least two references to the California Waterfowl Association.
