Eligibility: Applicants must be graduating seniors from Watsonville High School with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who demonstrates financial need and have the intention of becoming public school teacher. Priority will be given to applicants who are the first in their family to go to college and/or are bilingual in Spanish and English.

Chicana/Latina Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility: Applicants must be Chicana/Latina women who have lived in the Northern California counties for at least two years and are attending school at an accredited institution in the same region. Undergraduate applicants must be full-time students who have completed at least 15 semester units and earned a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must demonstrate leadership and community involvement and agree to volunteer at least five years in support of the Chicana/Latina Foundation if they receive the scholarship.

Students must plan to attend Florida public or eligible private institutions as undergraduate or graduate students, but graduating high school seniors get preference.

Minority Scholarship

Eligibility: Applicants must be African American, Hispanic, Asian American or Native American students working toward a graduate degree related to strength and conditioning. Students must be NSCA members for one year before applying and be pursuing careers in strength and conditioning. Applications are evaluated based on grades, courses, experience, honors, recommendations and involvement in the community and with NSCA.
