Eligibility: Applicants must be Grand Haven High School graduating seniors demonstrating financial need and academic excellence (GPA of 3.5 or better), with plans to pursue studies in the field of elementary education. Special consideration will be given to a student who has demonstrated an interest in youth through volunteer mentoring. In addition, recognizing Mrs. Fase's involvement with St. Paul's United Church of Christ, a student who is a member will be given special consideration.

Eligibility: Applicants must be members of a United Church of Christ congregation for at least one year prior to receipt of the scholarship. They must be currently enrolled in an ATS accredited seminary in a course of study to become an ordained minister, and they must maintain at least a B average to receive and keep the scholarship. Applicants should be able to show that they have demonstrated leadership abilities in a church or academic environment. Students must also agree to serve the United Church of Christ or one of its partners after the completion of their studies.
