FMC Skaters Scholarship

Eligibility: Applicants must be New England residents, seniors in high school and skate at an FMC arena. Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service and accomplishments and leadership on the ice.

ISIA Education Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least three years of high school with a minimum 3.0 GPA during the last two years and enroll as full-time undergraduate students. Applicants must also have been members of the Ice Skating Institute (ISI), have participated in the ISI Recreational Skater Program for at least four years and have completed 120 hours of volunteer service. Applicants must also submit two evaluation forms and an essay of 500 words or less explaining why they should receive the award.

Scholastic Honors Team

Eligibility: Students must be current members of U.S. Figure Skating, entering the junior or senior year of high school, have at least a 3.4 minimum GPA and have competed in a U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition. Selection is based on academic performance and honors, community and extracurricular involvement, skating achievements and the essay.

Amount: $2,500

Scott Hamilton Skaters Education Fund

Eligibility: Applicants must be a high school senior or college undergraduate and have competed in a U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition. Synchronized skating is not eligible. Selection is based on academic success, honors, demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities, work experience, goals and the essay.

Amount: $4,000-$8,000
Deadline: February 21
How to apply: Applications are available online and include an official transcript, competition documentation and an IRS 1040 tax form for the past two years.
